Abidjan stock market closes Wednesday trading down
Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire (PANA) - The Abidjan-based stock market (BRVM) closed Wednesday trading down, with the BRVM 10 index dropping from 125.92 to 125.81 points or a 0.09 percent decrease while the BRVM Composite index lost 0.20 percent to 135.32 points as against 135.59 points previously.
The volume of transactions stood at 121,886,345 CFAF for 44,754 traded securities on the share market while that of the bond market stood at 130,755,500 CFAF for 13,089 traded securities.
Share market capitalization amounted to 4,065,954,374,781 CFAF while the bond market stood at 5,139,585,991,660 CFAF.
Bank of Africa (Mali) recorded the highest gain with a daily evolution of 5.00 percent while the least traded security was recorded by Sogb (Côte d’Ivoire) with a daily drop of 5.01 percent.
