Abidjan stock market closes Wednesday trading up
Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire (PANA) - The Abidjan-based stock market (BRVM) closed Wednesday trading up, with the BRVM rising from 125.44 points to 125.58 points or a 0.11 percent increase while the BRVM Composite index gained 0.13 percent to 134.27 points as against 134.09 points previously.
The volume of transactions stood at 102,052,020 CFAF for 117,829 traded securities on the share market, while that of the bond market stood at 4,566,600 CFAF for 490 traded securities.
Share market capitalization amounted to 4,034,121,315,606 CFAF while the bond market stood at 4,774,600,506,630 CFAF.
Bank of Africa (Mali) recorded the highest gain with a daily evolution of 7.32 percent while the least traded security was recorded by Nei-Ceda (Côte d’Ivoire) with a daily drop of 7.14 percent.
