Abidjan stock market closes Wednesday trading down
Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire (PANA) - The Abidjan-based stock market (BRVM) closed Wednesday, 25 March, 2020, trading down, with the BRVM 10 index dropping from 128.46 points to 128.22 points or a 0.19 percent decrease while the BRVM Composite index lost 0.56 percent to 137.16 points as against 137.93 points previously.
The volume of transactions stood at 91,452,925 CFAF for 319,404 traded securities on the share market, while that of the bond market stood at 2,863,900 CFAF for 304 traded securities.
Share market capitalization amounted to 4,121,086,963,041 CFAF while the bond market stood at 4,783,541,644,797 CFAF.
Air Liquide (Côte d’Ivoire) recorded the highest gain with a daily evolution of 2.38 percent while the least traded security was recorded by Nsia Banque (Côte d’Ivoire) with a daily drop of 7.50 percent.
