Abidjan stock market closes Wednesday trading down

Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire (PANA) - The Abidjan-based stock market (BRVM) closed Wednesday trading down, with the BRVM 10 index dropping from 133.52 points to 133.02 points or a 0.37 percent decrease while the BRVM Composite index lost 0.31 percent to 142.73 points as against 143.17 points previously.

The volume of transactions stood at 219,234,865 CFAF for 71,153 traded securities on the share market, while that of the bond market stood at 5,264,549 CFAF for 532 traded securities.

Share market capitalization amounted to 4,288,581,535,761 CFAF while the bond market stood at 4,538,421,566,477 CFAF.

Air Liquide  (Côte d’Ivoire) recorded the highest gain with a daily evolution of 7.14 percent while the least traded security was recorded by Saph (Côte d’Ivoire) with a daily drop of 6.94 percent.
