Abidjan stock market closes Wednesday trading down

Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire (PANA) - The Abidjan-based stock market (BRVM) closed Wednesday trading down, with the BRVM 10 index dropping from 137.24 points to 135.93 points or a 0.95 percent decrease while the BRVM Composite index lost 0.57 percent to 145.54 points as against 146.37 points previously.

The volume of transactions stood at 244,538,820 CFAF for 36,232 traded securities on the share market, while that of the bond market stood at 300,167,321 CFAF for 30,137 traded securities.

Share market capitalization amounted to 4,332,655,836,340 CFAF while the bond market stood at 4,540,955,638,949 CFAF.

Smb (Côte d’Ivoire) recorded the highest gain with a daily evolution of 7.14 percent while the least traded security was recorded by TRACTAFRIC MOTORS (Côte d’Ivoire) with a daily drop of 6.25 percent.
