Abidjan stock market closes Wednesday trading up

Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire (PANA)  -  The Abidjan-based stock market (BRVM) closed Wednesday trading up, with the BRVM rising from 136.36 points to 138.10 points or a 1.28 percent increase while the BRVM Composite index gained 1.18 percent to 149.58 points as against 147.83 points previously.

The volume of transactions stood at 67,255,249 CFAF for 62,457 traded securities on the share market, while that of the bond market stood at 790,000 CFAF for 79 traded securities.

Share market capitalization amounted to 4,452,974,037,933 CFAF while the bond market stood at 4,419,824,669,042 CFAF.

Ecobank (Togo) recorded the highest gain with a daily evolution of 7.50 percent while the least traded security was recorded by Vivo Setao (Côte d’Ivoire) with a daily drop of 5.77 percent.
