Abidjan stock market closes Wednesday trading up

Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire (PANA)  -  The Abidjan-based stock market (BRVM) closed Wednesday trading up, compared with the previous session, as the BRVM 10 index rose from 133.94 points to 135.09 points or a 0.86 percent increase, while the BRVM Composite index gained 0.85 percent to 141.94 points against 140.75 points previously.

The volume of transactions stood at 158,049,734 CFAF for 341,612 traded securities on the share market, while on the bond market, it stood at 15,824,960 CFAF for 1,590 traded securities.

Share market capitalization amounted to 4,225,513, 236,490 CFAF while the bond market stood at 4,013,474,357,131 CFAF.

Tractafric Motors (Côte d’Ivoire) recorded the highest gain with a daily evolution of 7.41 percent while the least traded security was recorded by Uniwax (Côte d’Ivoire) with a daily drop of 6.25 percent.
