Abidjan stock market closes Wednesday trading down

Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire (PANA)    -   The Abidjan-based stock (BRVM) market closed Wednesday trading down, compared with the previous session, with the BRVM Composite index that dropping from 145.99 points to 145.88 points, or a drop of 0.08 percent, while the BRVM 10 index lost 0.09 percent to 151.13 points against 151.26 points previously.

The overall value of transactions was set at 229,508,047 CFAF for a volume of 392,426 traded securities on the share market, as against the bond market at 105,056,760 CFAF for a volume of 10,689 traded securities.

In another development, share market capitalization stood at 4,498,889,027,097 CFAF, as against the bond market at 3,742,484,639,355 CFAF.

Uniwax (Côte d’Ivoire) recorded the highest gain with a daily rise of 3.68 percent, while the least active security was recorded by Solibra (Côte d’Ivoire) with a daily drop of 4.65 percent.
