Abidjan stock market closes Tuesday trading down

Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire (PANA)  -  The Abidjan-based stock market (BRVM) closed Tuesday trading down, with the BRVM 10 index dropping from 124.41 points to 124.25 points or a 0.13 percent decrease while the BRVM Composite index lost 0.21 percent to 132.12 points as against 132.40 points previously.

The volume of transactions stood at 94,781,415 CFAF for 53,796 traded securities on the share market while that of the bond market stood at 10,752,200 CFAF for 1,076 traded securities.

Share market capitalization amounted to 3,969,735,961,590 CFAF while the bond market stood at 5,052,038,459,284 CFAF.

Nestlé (Côte d’Ivoire) recorded the highest gain with a daily evolution of 4.84 percent while the least traded security was recorded by Energy (Côte d’Ivoire) with a daily drop of 7.09 percent.
