Abidjan stock market closes Tuesday trading down

Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire (PANA)  -  The Abidjan-based stock market (BRVM) closed Tuesday trading down, with the BRVM dropping from 137.07 points to 136.36 points or a 0.52 percent decrease while the BRVM Composite index lost 0.21 percent to 147.83 points as against 148.14 points previously.

The volume of transactions stood at 623,049,763 CFAF for 173,302 traded securities on the share market, while that of the bond market stood at 15,267,629 CFAF for 1,532 traded securities.

Share market capitalization amounted to 4,400,771,890,591 CFAF while the bond market stood at 4,419,069,893,482 CFAF.

Bank of Africa (Mali) recorded the highest gain with a daily evolution of 7.21 percent while the least traded security was recorded by Société Ivoirienne de Banque (Côte d’Ivoire) with a daily drop of 5.46 percent.
