Abidjan stock market closes Tuesday trading down

Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire (PANA)  -  The Abidjan-based stock market (BRVM) closed Tuesday trading down, with the BRVM dropping from 143.19 points to 139.72 points or a 2.45 percent decrease while the BRVM Composite index lost 2.34 percent to 150.67 points as against 154.28 points previously.

The volume of transactions stood at 112,909,283 CFAF for 1,478,163 traded securities on the share market, while that of the bond market stood at 1,100,000 CFAF for 110 traded securities.

Share market capitalization amounted to 4,485,376,589,521 CFAF while the bond market stood at 4,420,456,603,889 CFAF.

Nei-Ceda (Côte d’Ivoire) recorded the highest gain with a daily evolution of 3.13 percent while the least traded security was recorded by Total (Senegal) with a daily drop of 7.40 percent.
