Abidjan stock market closes Tuesday trading up

Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire (PANA)  - The Abidjan-based stock market (BRVM) closed Tuesday trading up, compared with the previous session.

The BRVM 10 index rose from 144.55 points to 145.99 points or a 1.00 percent rise, while the BRVM Composite index gained 0.49 percent, rising to 151.26 points as against 150.52  points in the previous session.

The overall value of transactions was set at 197,748,997 CFAF for a volume of 241,707 traded securities on the share market, while that of the bond market was set at 500,510,000 CFAF for a volume of 50,051 traded securities.

In another development, share market capitalization was set at 4,502,838,234,752 CFAF with the bond market at 3,743,583,224,095 CFAF.

Ecobank (Togo) recorded the most significant rise with a daily evolution of 6.67 percent, while the less active security was detained by Nestlé (Côte d’Ivoire) with a daily drop of 7.14 percent.
