Abidjan stock market closes Thursday trading down

Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire (PANA) - The Abidjan-based stock market (BRVM) closed Thursday trading down, with the BRVM 10 index dropping from 125.81 to 125.31 points or a 0.40 percent decrease while the BRVM Composite index lost 0.71 percent to 134.36 points as against 135.32 points previously.

The volume of transactions stood at 90,852,270 CFAF for 20,183 traded securities on the share market while that of the bond market stood at 3,566,760 CFAF for 357 traded securities.

Share market capitalization amounted to 4,036,849,859,581 CFAF while the bond market stood at 5,140,312,374,029 CFAF.

Sicable (Côte d’Ivoire) recorded the highest gain with a daily evolution of 1.84 percent while the least traded security was recorded by Nsia Banque (Côte d’Ivoire) with a daily drop of 7.50 percent.
