Abidjan stock market closes Thursday trading down
Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire (PANA) - The Abidjan-based stock market (BRVM) closed Thursday 26 March, 2020, trading down, with the BRVM 10 index dropping from 128.22 points to 126.94 points or a 1.00 percent decrease while the BRVM Composite index lost 0.73 percent to 136.16 points as against 137.16 points previously.
The volume of transactions stood at 117,889,418 CFAF for 41,156 traded securities on the share market, while that of the bond market stood at 3,788,286 CFAF for 388 traded securities.
Share market capitalization amounted to 4,090,924,333,061 CFAF while the bond market stood at 4,780,169,345,308 CFAF.
Sode (Côte d’Ivoire) recorded the highest gain with a daily evolution of 7.14 percent while the least traded security was recorded by Nsia Banque Servair Abidjan (Côte d’Ivoire) with a daily drop of 6.86 percent.
