Abidjan stock market closes Thursday trading down

Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire (PANA)  -  The Abidjan-based stock market (BRVM) closed Thursday trading down, with the BRVM dropping from 138.10 points to 136.92 points or a 0.85 percent decrease while the BRVM Composite index lost 0.31 percent to 149.12 points as against 149.58 points previously.

The volume of transactions stood at 86,524,975 CFAF for 50,642 traded securities on the share market, while that of the bond market stood at 1,237,350 CFAF for 138 traded securities.

Share market capitalization amounted to 4,439,262,292,111 CFAF while the bond market stood at 4,419,447,669,042 CFAF.

Sode (Côte d’Ivoire) recorded the highest gain with a daily evolution of 7.14 percent while the least traded security was recorded by Ecobank (Togo) with a daily drop of 7.14 percent.
