Abidjan stock market closes Thursday trading up
Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire (PANA) - The Abidjan-based stock market (BRVM) closed Thursday trading up, with the BRVM rising from 135.86 points to 138.10 points or a 1.65 percent increase while the BRVM Composite index gained 0.93 percent to 149.15 points as against 150.67 points previously.
The volume of transactions stood at 473,843,132 CFAF for 105,149 traded securities on the share market, while that of the bond market stood at 9,756,403 CFAF for 1,098 traded securities.
Share market capitalization amounted to 4,440,237,224,603 CFAF while the bond market stood at 4,421,362,151,726 CFAF.
Sucrivoire (Côte d’Ivoire) recorded the highest gain with a daily evolution of 7.04 percent while the least traded security was recorded by Vivo Energy (Côte d’Ivoire) with a daily drop of 7.14 percent.
