Abidjan stock market closes Thursday trading up

Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire (PANA)  -  The Abidjan-based stock market (BRVM) closed Thursday trading up, compared with the previous session, as the BRVM 10 index rose from 135.09 points to 135.44 points or a 0.26 percent increase, while the BRVM Composite index gained 0.18 percent to 142.19 points against 141.94 points previously.

The volume of transactions stood at 50,440,150 CFAF for 20,078 traded securities on the share market, while on the bond market, it stood at 512,624,580 CFAF for 54,434 traded securities.

Share market capitalization amounted to 4,232,994,235,180 CFAF while the bond market stood at 4,014,697,401,735 CFAF.

Société Ivoirienne de Banque (Côte d’Ivoire) recorded the highest gain with a daily evolution of 7.40 percent while the least traded security was recorded by Ecobank (Côte d’Ivoire) with a daily drop of 3.17 percent.
