Abidjan stock market closes Thursday trading up

Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire (PANA)   -  The Abidjan-based stock market (BRVM) closed Thursday trading up, compared with the previous session.

The BRVM 10 index rose from 145.88 points to 146,89 points, or 0.69 percent, while the BRVM Composite index gained 0.52 percent to record 151.92 points as against 151.13 points previously.

The overall value of transactions was 145,857,505 CFAF for a volume of 835,746 traded securities, while on the bond market, it was set at 816,330,000 CFAF for a volume of 81,661 traded securities.

In another development, share market capitalization was set at 4,522,609,325,169 CFAF, with the bond market set at 3,859,288,149,355 CFAF.

Ecobank (Togo) recorded the most significant rise with a daily rise of 6.25 percent, as against the less active security recorded by CFAO Motors (Côte d’Ivoire) with a daily drop of 3.66 percent.
