Abidjan stock market closes Monday trading up

Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire (PANA) - The Abidjan-based stock market (BRVM) closed Monday trading up, with the BRVM 10 index rising from 125.94 to 126.03 points or a 0.07 percent decrease while the BRVM Composite index gained 0.06 percent to 135.85 points as against 135.77 points previously.

The volume of transactions stood at 84,549,765 CFAF for 46,261 traded securities on the share market while that of the bond market stood at 1,248,241 CFAF for 134 traded securities.

Share market capitalization amounted to 4,081,878,462,321 CFAF while the bond market stood at 5,144,732,395,060 CFAF.

Sode (Côte d’Ivoire) recorded the highest gain with a daily evolution of 7.02 percent while the least traded security was recorded by Nestlé (Côte d’Ivoire) with a daily drop of 2.82 percent.
