Abidjan stock market closes Monday trading down

Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire (PANA) - The Abidjan-based stock market (BRVM) closed Monday 30 March, 2020, trading down, with the BRVM 10 index dropping from 126.16 points to 125.93 points or a 0.18 percent decrease while the BRVM Composite index lost 0.44 percent to 134.65 points as against 135.24 points previously.

The volume of transactions stood at 107,459,670 CFAF for 31,743 traded securities on the share market, while that of the bond market stood at 1,020,600 CFAF for 103 traded securities.

Share market capitalization amounted to 4,045,799,434,161 CFAF while the bond market stood at 4,776,347,966,258 CFAF.

Onatel (Burkina Faso) recorded the highest gain with a daily evolution of 1.59 percent while the least traded security was recorded by Société Ivoirienne de Banque (Côte d’Ivoire) with a daily drop of 3.89 percent.
