Abidjan stock market closes Monday trading down

Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire (PANA) - The Abidjan-based stock market (BRVM) closed Monday, 23 March, 2020, trading down, with the BRVM 10 index dropping from 130.14 points to 128.31 points or a 1.69 percent decrease while the BRVM Composite index lost 1.31 percent to 138.27 points as against 140.03 points previously.

The volume of transactions stood at 884,450,196 CFAF for 89,424 traded securities on the share market, while that of the bond market stood at 609,475 CFAF for 61 traded securities.

Share market capitalization amounted to 4,154,444,525,116 CFAF while the bond market stood at 4,782,710,183,847 CFAF.

Saph (Côte d’Ivoire) recorded the highest gain with a daily evolution of 7.46 percent while the least traded security was recorded by Bank of Africa (Mali) with a daily drop of 7.07 percent.
