Abidjan stock market closes Monday trading down

Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire (PANA) - The Abidjan-based stock market (BRVM) closed Monday trading down, with the BRVM 10 index dropping from 135.57 points to 134.57 points or a 0.74 percent decrease while the BRVM Composite index lost 0.76 percent to 143.95 points as against 145.05 points previously.

The volume of transactions stood at 201,558,884 CFAF for 121,026 traded securities on the share market, while that of the bond market stood at 90,299,500 CFAF for 9,030 traded securities.

Share market capitalization amounted to 4,285,184,160,451 CFAF while the bond market stood at 4,537,642,927,799 CFAF.

Sicable (Côte d’Ivoire) recorded the highest gain with a daily evolution of 7.21 percent while the least traded security was recorded by Bank Of Africa (Mali) with a daily drop of 3.64 percent.
