Abidjan stock market closes Monday trading down

Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire (PANA)  -  The Abidjan-based stock market (BRVM) closed Monday trading down, with the BRVM dropping from 137.29 points to 137.07 points or a 0.16 percent decrease while the BRVM Composite index lost 0.10 percent to 148.14 points as against 148.29 points previously.

The volume of transactions stood at 1,159,184,420 CFAF for 252,066 traded securities on the share market, while that of the bond market stood at 7,371,090 CFAF for 738 traded securities.

Share market capitalization amounted to 4,410,080,740,521 CFAF while the bond market stood at 4,419,794,177,146 CFAF.

Palm (Côte d’Ivoire) recorded the highest gain with a daily evolution of 7.40 percent while the least traded security was recorded by Total (Senegal) with a daily drop of 6.79 percent.
