Abidjan stock market closes Monday trading down

Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire (PANA)  -  The Abidjan-based stock market (BRVM) closed Monday trading down, with the BRVM dropping from 145.65 points to 143.19 points or a 1.69 percent decrease while the BRVM Composite index lost 1.48 percent to 154.28 points as against 156.59 points previously.

The volume of transactions stood at 234,432,281 CFAF for 769,234 traded securities on the share market, while that of the bond market stood at 6,096,885 CFAF for 910 traded securities.

Share market capitalization amounted to 4,592,779,187,773 CFAF while the bond market stood at 4,223,102,353,889 CFAF.

Palm (Côte d’Ivoire) recorded the highest gain with a daily evolution of 7.03 percent while the least traded security was recorded by Bank Of Africa (Côte d’Ivoire) with a daily drop of 7.50 percent.
