Abidjan stock market closes Monday trading down

Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire (PANA)  -  The Abidjan-based stock market (BRVM) closed Monday trading down, compared with the previous session, as the BRVM 10 index dropped from 135.37 points to 134.21 points or a 0.86 percent decrease, while the BRVM Composite index lost 0.62 percent to 140.99 points against 141.87 points previously.

The volume of transactions stood at 404,170,076 CFAF for 187,803 traded securities on the share market, while on the bond market, it stood at 214,149,500 CFAF for 21,415 traded securities.

Share market capitalization amounted to 4,197,238,716,368 CFAF while the bond market stood at 4,015,052,590,031 CFAF.

Palm (Côte d’Ivoire) recorded the highest gain with a daily evolution of 7.07 percent while the least traded security was recorded by Ecobank (Togo) with a daily drop of 6.67 percent.
