Abidjan stock market closes Friday trading down
Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire (PANA) - The Abidjan-based stock market (BRVM) closed Thursday, 7 May, 2020, trading down, with the BRVM 10 index dropping from 130.83 points to 130.29 points or a 0.41 percent decrease while the BRVM Composite index lost 0.18 percent to 137.25 points as against 137.50 points previously.
The volume of transactions stood at 107,384,815 CFAF for 88,868 traded securities on the share market, while that of the bond market stood at 12,198,0000 CFAF for 1,219 traded securities.
Share market capitalization amounted to 4,123,743,080,396 CFAF while the bond market stood at 4,735,335,829,233 CFAF.
Cie (Côte d’Ivoire) recorded the highest gain with a daily evolution of 7.44 percent while the least traded security was recorded by Bernabé (Côte d’Ivoire) with a daily drop of 7.41 percent.
