Abidjan stock market closes Friday trading up

Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire (PANA)  -  The Abidjan-based stock market (BRVM) closed Friday trading up, with the BRVM rising from 135.70 points to 136.74 points or a 0.77 percent increase while the BRVM Composite index gained 0.41 percent to 146.46 points as against 145.86 points previously.

The volume of transactions stood at 57,934 891 CFAF for 972,685 traded securities on the share market, while that of the bond market stood at 33,445,079 CFAF for 3,416 traded securities.

Share market capitalization amounted to 4,359,879,320,316 CFAF while the bond market stood at 4,557,577,284,317 CFAF.

Ecobank (Côte d’Ivoire) recorded the highest gain with a daily evolution of 7.34 percent while the least traded security was recorded by Palm (Côte d’Ivoire) with a daily drop of 7.27 percent.
