Abidjan stock market closes Friday trading down
Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire (PANA) - The Abidjan-based stock market (BRVM) closed Friday trading down, compared with the previous session, as the BRVM 10 index dropped from 135.44 points to 135.01 points or a 0.32 percent decrease, while the BRVM Composite index lost 0.26 percent to 141.82 points against 142.19 points previously.
The volume of transactions stood at 536,154,675 CFAF for 483,700 traded securities on the share market, while on the bond market, it stood at 64,993,600 CFAF for 6,500 traded securities.
Share market capitalization amounted to 4,221,840,241,705 CFAF while the bond market stood at 4,014,963,851,735 CFAF.
Cfao Motors (Côte d’Ivoire) and Solibra (Côte d’Ivoire) recorded the highest gains with a daily evolution of 7.50 percent while the least traded security was recorded by Bank of Africa (Niger) with a daily drop of 6.35 percent.
