Abidjan stock market closes Friday trading down

Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire (PANA)  -  The Abidjan-based stock market (BRVM) closed Friday trading down, compared with the previous session.

Thw BRVM 10 index dropped from 146.89 points to 145.88 points, or a 0.69 percent rise, while the BRVM Composite index lost 0.51 percent to 151.15 points as against 151.92 points previously.

The overall value of transactions was 256,318,873 CFAF for a volume of 149,604 traded securities on the share market, while on the bond market, it was set at 2,679,875 CFAF for a volume of 268 traded securities.

In another development, share market capitalization stood at 4,499,735,531,427 CFAF, while that of the bond market stood at 3,859,737,222,835 CFAF.

Soiété Ivoirienne de Banque (Côte d’Ivoire) recorded the highest gain with a daily evolution of 2.94 percent, with the least active security recorded by Ecobank (Togo) with a daily drop of 5.88 percent.
