3 schoolgirls who "insulted" president Nkurunziza pardoned in Burundi

Bujumbura, Burundi (PANA) - The Burundi Justice Minister, Aimé-Laurentine Kanyana, on Tuesday announced that three students, aged 15, 16 and 17, will be granted "provisional pardon" after three weeks of detention at the Ngozi (North) juvenile detention center, on charges of "insulting" the Burundian head of state, Pierre Nkurunziza, by writing and defacing his photo in five human sciences textbooks
