2nd edition of 'The Heroines' forum set for September 24 in Abidjan

Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire (PANA) - More than 200 Ivorian executives and entrepreneurs will meet on 24 September in Abidjan for a day of training and exchange of experiences.


This day will be filled accounts by  outstanding leaders, high-level panel discussions and personal development workshops.

This is explained in the communiqué of the group Jeune Afrique on the event in connection with the General Confederation of Enterprises of Côte d'Ivoire (Cgeci).

The Heroines forum aims to train a generation of women leaders of tomorrow by giving them the tools to deploy their full potential in their careers, the statement said.


For its 2nd edition, the forum wants to get women to innovate using the right tools.


"At a time when digital is changing the way we operate, as opportunities for growth are increasing and traditional business management methods are becoming obsolete, Ivorian managers and entrepreneurs must acquire the assets needed to understand the continent's challenges and innovate in their professional life," said the statement.


The highlight of the 2019 Forum will be the Sisley Prize to reward three most innovative Ivorian entrepreneurs.
