2022 FIFA WC playoff: Ghana releases squad for Nigeria duel

Accra, Ghana (PANA) - The head coach of Ghana's senior national football team, Otto Addo, on Tuesday released the names of the squad for the double-header against Nigeria in the 2022 World Cup playoff on 25 and 29 March.

The team published by the Ghana Football Association (GFA) has only one local player, defender Dennis Korsah of Accra Hearts of Oak, while 12 players of the team that performed poorly in the just ended 2021 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament in Cameroon nhabe been dropped.

The Ghana Black Stars will be home to the Super Eagles of Nigeria in the first leg at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi on 25 March and travel to Abuja for the second leg on 29 March.
