2015 AAG: B/Faso, Senegal to battle for men's soccer gold

Brazzaville, Congo (PANA) - Burkina Faso and Senegal will trade tackles in their bid to win the prestigious soccer gold at the ongoing 11th All-Africa Games in Congo's capital, Brazzaville, after both cruised to the final on Tuesday.

Burkina Faso upset favourite Nigeria 3-1 to advance, while Senegal shocked host Congo by the same scoreline.

Congo and Nigeria will clash for the bronze medal on Thursday, while the final will be played on Friday.

In the women's class, Ghana and Cameroon will battle for gold after their victories in the semi-finals.

Ghana’s Black Queens beat ‘Les Elephantes’ of Cote d’Ivoire 1-0 while ‘Les Lionnes’ of Cameroon brought down the Super Falcons of Nigeria 2-1.

Nigeria will face Cote d’Ivoire in the battle for bronze on Thursday ahead of the final clash between Ghana and Cameroon on Friday.
