11 Burkinabè soldiers killed in attack on army patrol

Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso (PANA) - At least 11 Burkinabè soldiers were killed on Wednesday in an attack on a Burkinabé army patrol at Hallale in the north-centre of Burkina Faso.
 
"Unidentified gunmen attacked an army patrol in Hallale on Wednesday. At least 11 members of the Defence and Security Forces were killed," a security source told PANA.
 
The attack came after the one that killed 35 civilians and 7 soldiers in Arbinda in Soum province in the Sahel.
 
In response to the attack, the army said it  killed 80 terrorists.
