 | US govt provides new Aid to refugees in eastern Chad | | N'djamena, Chad (PANA) - The US government has donated 114,000 US
dollars to improve the quality of drinking water for to about
180,000 Sudanese refugees who fled into eastern Chad to escape a
civil war raging in the western Darfur region, US diplomatic

the Lake Chad Basin Commission to stem the shrinking
of the Lake waters got a boost Monday with Nigerian
President Olusegun Obasanjo announcing payment of
