Accra- Ghana (PANA) -- A new database on the world's soils offers insights that c an be helpful in addressing climate change and food production, according to the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) "The more information we have about soil properties, the more we can evaluate th e quality of our natural resources all over the world and their potential to pro d uce food now and in future scenarios of climate change," Alexander Muller, FAO A s sistant Director General for Natural Resources and Environment Management, said.
