Dakar- Senegal (PANA) -- Unlike the Iraqis who traded oil for food and the Soviets in the early 90s had to trade personal jewellery, including wedding rings, for apples, the inhabitants of a tiny Senegalese village close to Ross Bethio, 300 km from Dakar, have traded sweat for food.
