  • IFC finances privatisation of Nigeria's petrochemical plant

    Lagos- Nigerian (PANA) -- In what has been described as its largest Sub-Saharan African privatisation investment to date, the International Finance Corporation (IFC), an arm of the World Bank, has agreed to assist the sale of Nigeria's Eleme Petrochemical Company Limited to a private investor with an investment of US$155 million, to support the growth of the country's nascent petrochemicals industry.
