Virgin Atlantic announces flight to Mauritius

 
Port,Louis Mauritius (PANA) - British airliner, Virgin Atlantic, said it would commence flights from London to Mauritius 29 October.

Communications Manager, Paul Charles, said the airline would operate twice weekly flights to Mauritius with an A340-300 aircraft.

"We'll help boost Mauritian tourism market in Great Britain," he said, adding that the carrier would compete with other two airlines, Air Mauritius and British Airways.

According to him, Virgin Atlantic flies to 30 destinations weekly across the world, including four in Africa, such as Johannesburg and Cape Town in South Africa, and Nairobi, Kenya.
