Tripoli, Libya (PANA) - The third session of the Arab-Japanese political dialogue was held on Wednesday in Cairo, Egypt, with the participation of the Libyan Minister of Economy and Trade, Mohamed al-Haweij, who is responsible for chairing Libya's delegation at the level of Arab foreign ministers.
The foreign ministers of the Arab countries, Japan and the Secretary-General of the Arab League, Ahmed Aboul Gheit, took part in the meeting on Arab-Japanese political dialogue held at the headquarters of the General Secretariat of the League of Arab States in the Egyptian capital, according to a statement from the Libyan Ministry of the Economy.
The Arab-Japanese dialogue during the current session aims to strengthen relations, unify visions on regional and global problems and challenges.
It also aims to achieve a partnership at different levels to support efforts for peace and stability in the region.
