Ivorian leader leaves for 19th AU summit in Ethiopia

Abidjan, Cote d'Ivoire (PANA) – The Ivorian President, Alassane Ouattara, left here on Friday for Addis Ababa to take part in the 19th African Union (AU) summit in the Ethiopian capital, official sources said here.

On the agenda of the 15-16 July summit, African leaders will discuss the election of the president of the Commission, as well as the crises in Mali and the Democratic Republic of Congo.

The theme of the current summit is "Promoting intra-African Trade".
