Ivorian crisis: Ouattara govt. reschedules curfew in Abidjan

Abidjan, Cote d'Ivoire (PANA) - The Minister of Interior of the government of the internationally-acclaimed winner of the Ivorian elections, Alassane Ouattara, Hamed Bakayoko, on Friday rescheduled the curfew imposed in Abidjan, Télé Côte d'Ivoire (TCI) announced.

The curfew, originally scheduled to last from 9 pm to 6 am, will be from 5 pm to 6 am on Fridays and from from 12 midnight  to 6 am on Saturdays.

Meanwhile, Ouattara's forces Monday launched a military offensive to oust the outgoing president, Laurent Gbagbo, from power.

After seizing several localities, his forces on Thursday fought their way to Abidjan, where they are facing Gbagbo's forces.
