Inter-Burundi Peace Committee to operate from Bujumbura

Bujumbura- Burundi (PANA) -- The Inter-Burundi Peace Agreement Monitoring Committee (CSA) is to relocate its headquarters from Arusha, Tanzania to the Burundi capital of Bujumbura, 26 November, an official said Saturday.
Committee chairman and UN Special envoy in the Great Lakes Region, Ethiopia's Berhanu Dinka, confirmed that by that date, the Committee would have replaced five of its members recently appointed into the Burundi Transition Government, He indicated that exiled members of the Committee would also be persuaded to return home.
The Committee set up under the 1999 Arusha Peace Accord, comprises leaders whose groups initialled the accord.
Meanwhile, Dinka has called for teamwork and cohesion among the Committee members.
