Angola's Cabinet Council meets Friday

 

Luanda, Angola (PANA) - The Angolan Cabinet Council will meet Friday in Luanda t o discuss, among other matters, the organisation and functioning of the Government under the chairmanship of Pre sident José Eduardo dos Santos, Angolan press agency, ANGOP, reported

It said the meeting would debate the bill on the administrative probity and issu es related to the 2010 Budget.

The newly-appointed Cabinet will also analyse the contract between the Angolan G overnment and the international consultant "Ernst & Young", to assist in the reorganisation and public finance m anagement, including the Angolan National Reserve Bank (BNA) and the public Credit and Savings Bank (BPC).

On Monday, President dos Santos swore in his new cabinet, which includes new Vic e President and former Parliament Speaker Fernando da Piedade Dias dos Santos.

The new cabinet comprises 31 ministers and their respective deputy ministers and secretaries of state, as well as a secretary of the cabinet council.
