Tripoli, Libya (PANA) - The Libyan Minister of Transport of the Government of National Unity, Mohamed Al-Chahoubi, discussed with the Italian Ambassador to Libya, Giuseppe Alberini, stages of the implementation of the Tripoli International Airport project by an Italian consortium "Aeneas".
At a meeting on Tuesday in Tripoli attended by the delegation accompanying the Italian ambassador, the two parties discussed the resumption of flights by Italian airlines to Libyan airports, as well as flights by the Libyan state airline Afriqyah Airways to Italy.
They also examined the difficulties encountered in implementing the Ras Jedir-Msaed coastal road project, and ways of overcoming the difficulties encountered in implementing the project, according to a statement issued by the "Hakomitna" platform.
In addition, the Libyan Minister of Labour and Rehabilitation, Ali Al-Abed, discussed with the Italian ambassador to Libya ways of strengthening cooperation in the field of vocational training.
Mr. Al-Abed emphasized to the Italian ambassador the strength of relations between the two countries and the ministry's commitment to cooperating in the field of vocational training to improve the skills of job seekers.
Mr. Alberini praised the efforts made by the Ministry of Labour, in particular in organizing the Conference of Ministers of Labour of the Community of Sahel-Saharan States (CENSAD), which was held last November in Tripoli.
