Zimbabwe to Vaccinate Children against Measles

Harare- Zimbabwe (PANA) -- About two million children under five years in Zimbabwe will be vaccinated against measles in June when the country carries out its second campaign in four years to combat the disease.
Ministry of Health officials Thursday said the national vaccination exercise would be jointly financed by the government and the World Health Organisation.
Measles is a major child killer in the country, but health officials said deaths from the disease declined in recent years due to regular vaccinations.
