WC 2010: Disgusted Portuguese fans switch support to Brazil

Luanda- Angola (PANA) -- Disgusted by the elimination of their national team from the ongoing World Cup finals in South Africa, hundreds Portuguese citizens in Angola Tuesday switched their support and solidarity to Brazil.
Spain beat Portugal 1-0 in the round of 16 to advance to the quarter- finals of the tournament.
A survey conducted by the Angolan News Agency (ANGOP) across the country (Angola) showed that the fans were totally disappointed by the performance of their players.
At the Cultural Centre here were Portuguese diplomats, including Ambassador Francisco Teles, get together, mostly dressed in the colours of their national flags, they were unable to hide their emotion after the team's ouster.
They said they expected the Portuguese team to advance even up to the finals.
Spain will meet Paraguay in the quarter-finals on 3 July.
The quarter-final fixtures are as follows: Netherlands Vs Brazil In Port Elizabeth on 2 July.
Ghana Vs Uruguay in Johannesburg on 2 July.
Argentina Vs Germany in Cape Town on 3 July.
