Two Ethiopians get art honours

Addis Ababa- Ethiopia (PANA) -- World laureates Afework Tekele and Tebebe Yemane-Berhan recently received the most prestigious awards of the American Biographical Institute (ABI), at a function at St.
John's College, Cambridge, England.
A release Thursday by Lions Club International said the two Ethiopians were made the award at the 28th International Congress on Arts and Communications held 15-22 July.
Afework Tekele received the Earnest Kay Award for his distinguished contribution to the cause of ABI and his outstanding achievements in Arts and World Culture.
Tebebe Yemane-Berhan got the annual award of ABI and the American Order of Excellence medal.
He was also elected Life Patron of the International Biographical Institute (IBC) for his contribution in the field of dermatology.
The release said both laureates were guest speakers at the 28th International Congress on Arts and Communication at St.
John's College, Cambridge, England.
