Tunisia: Tunisia-Algeria weekly flights to increase

Tunis, Tunisia (PANA) - Following an agreement signed Tuesday between aviation officials of both countries, the number of flights between Tunisia and Algeria will be increased from 30 to 42 per week, according to Habib Makki, Director General of the Tunisian Office of Civil Aviation and airports (OACA).

The agreement was signed in Tunis by Makki and his Algerian counterpart, Youssef Smain Ezzi, witnessed by the Tunisian Minister of Transport, Mahmoud Ben Romdhane, and Ambassador of Algeria in Tunisia, Abdelkader Hajjar.

Mr. Makki further indicated that following the agreement, negotiations shall be entered into on the income of the Tunisian airline (Tunisair) which was frozen in Algeria and valued at 8 million euros.
