Togo: First edition of African Integration Week set for Lome

Lomé, Togo (PANA) - The first edition of the African Integration Week will be held in Lomé from 21 to 25 May 2016, organized by Togo's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation and African Integration, according to an official announcement made here Wednesday.  

The event is for African communities living in Togo, including Beninese, Ghanaian, Malian, Nigerian, Nigerien, Ivorian and Burkinabe.

"In total, tens of thousands of people, some of whom are resident in the country for decades should participate in this first edition of the Week of African Integration," it said.

The week will be marked by many activities including conferences, exhibitions and a market dedicated to African women.
